We are happy to announce a new venture in the field of Konkani Studies. Konkani is a language spoken generally in the state of Goa. But, Konkani speakers are spread all over the world. Konkani language has its own history, tradition and heritage right from 6^th century AD.

St. Aloysius College Department of Konkani has taken the initiative to teach Konkani language to non Konkani speakers who wish to learn the language. Konkani language has different dialects and it is our pride to reach out to people with a passion for Konkani.

The College will be hosting a 40- hour Communicative Konkani ‘E-Samvahan’ Certificate course on ‘virtual’ mode. It is heartening to note that this programme is sponsored by Karnataka Sahithya Academy.  Resource persons with knowledge and experience in various fields will engage the classes on every Thursday between 6pm to 8pm on Google meet.  This course will commence from 2 June 2022 onwards. No fees!!!!!! Only registration fee of Rs 500/- will be charged.

The focus of the Course will be communication skills.  Only an oral test will be conducted at the end of the session and an e- certificate will be issued to participants.
