I am currently employed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology, where I passionately explore the fascinating world of aquatic life in the Western Ghats of India. My research focuses on the diversity and population genetics of fishes of the Western Ghats, a region renowned for its rich biodiversity. My work allows me to combine my deep love for nature and animals with my academic pursuits. Beyond my professional interests, I find joy in breeding ornamental fish as a hobby, which serves as a testament to my unwavering fascination with aquatic life.
